Since 1982, TCL operates a large, multi-product Liquid Storage Terminal at Chennai Port, to receive petrochemicals directly from ships at 3 Berths, store and load the material into railway tankers to transport it to the final destination.

It is rated among one of the best operated petrochemical terminals in India.
