To replace the 20% of the Energy we generate from fossil fuels, TCL has set up four 800 kW Windmills in Dindigul district, Tamilnadu. Each has a capacity to generate 1.9 million kWh/ year in these conditions.
The machines were commissioned in 2008 and have started generating power. This is fed into the general power grid and Tamilnadu Electricity Board gives us credit for the amount of electricity delivered.
